I was just on the Lyman site looking for a .460 sizer lubricator die.
They don't list one in that size, do I have any other options?

And I am looking for a .470. Guess we just have to make them?

Get a .459", which is the biggest I have found, and hone it out at home. Thats what I had to do. Blysmelter, if you neeed a .470", contact Buckshot here on the forum. He can make you one, and very reasonable. A great guy to deal with.

I have a set up to .462 that I honed out. I got a deal on Lyman and RCBS .458 H&I dies. The RCBS dies were considerbly harder to hone/lap then the lymans. When you increase the size of the die, you will need to turn new I dies for them, especially the bigger ones.

It's funny how things work different for different people, I have always found the RCBS easier to hone! I bought a used luber, and it came with a .457" die, useless to me. It was a Lyman die, and the hardest one I have ever seen! 3 attempts later, I got a whole 1/2 thousandths out of it. I finally gave up and heated it dull red, and let it cool. This killed enough hardness to allow honing. I went to .461" with this one. I re-used a .459" center plug, and get minimal lube blow by.
