The second link is youtube for those who don't have Facebook.

Brought tears to my eyes. Praise God for those patriots who had the vision and faith in God and this country. And thank Him for those today also.

In 2005 while on an extended trip we spent 5 weeks in the DC area. During that time, the flag that flew over Fort McHenry during the battle that Francis Scott Key witnessed from the British ship and penned the National Anthem, was being restored at the Museum of US History. Behind glass walls several people were working on the flag. As I read for myself the story conveyed in the video, this is hard to put into words, was an emotional experience. It's a shame that DC is the place that our politicians do whatever they do because all the Smithsonians, Arlington Cemetary, war memorials, etc. make for an absolutely wonderful and enlighten experience. Watching the changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown found me with tears hitting the ground near my feet.
