I have been casting pistol bullets for about a year and have gotten the hang of it. I have 3 8mm rifles, 2 mausers and a steyr I want to start casting for. They take different molds (.324 for the mauser, and .329 for the steyr). Can I use a .32 cal gas check for both of these? I can't find any 8mm gas checks so I did an internet search and found that some people are using the .32 cal checks. Will this work for these, or at least one of them? Thanks, Tracy.

I Use Hornady Copper .32/8mm gas checks for those size boolits and they snap on fine & size tight

If it fits, it'll work. If it don't fit, it probably won't work. :)

.32 is 8mm. They will work fine on both.

Not a gas check intended for a .32 auto pistol (if such a gas check ever existed)
since ".32" auto pistols are .30 cal. But a rifle GC, sure.

I have the Oldfeller Frankenstein mold for my Steyr and it takes a .338 GC.
