Hi, I have finaly bougt my reloading press, Lee Standard Turret, and I was looking at buying some Cast Bullets localy for 9mm and .38 Special. A few questions first, how much do would they regulary cost? Do they normaly come pre-sized? And should I underload these, moreso than copper coated rounds? :drinks::Fire:

You got the press huh, that's great! Will your momstill speak to me? {[this is my nephew}. I would load them as midrange speeds for the Ruger. You may be able to find some wadcutters and load them as you did the target loads here. I have no idea of cost in No. Cal. HAve fun, Gianni.

Welcome!
That link VTDW put up looks like some good prices and shipping is good(2000 for $8.95). 1000 of each caliber should keep you plugging along.:Fire:

Moulton, look for 125 grain round nose sized .358. They will normally work in both cartridges. The bullets sold for the 9mm are usually too small for either. I dunno CA prices, but anything under $25 per 500 would be reasonable. I'd load light for the 9mm, but any normal .38 Special load for that bullet weight should work fine in that cartridge.

You are extremely lucky to have an uncle who casts. Your best bet is to work out a deal with him.
