Mold guidance that is. How are you guys adapting the RCBS Pro Melt guide bar to accommodate the Noe hollow point molds? You know...the ones that have the little bars & screws that wrap around the bottom of the mold to retain the HP pins? This just isn't working out so great for me at the moment.

Remove the bar from the pot, I have a Lee pot that has about the same thing, never did like using it.

Yeah, I thought about swinging it off to the side and stacking some short 2x4's or something underneath.

I just hold the mold up in the air, sometimes I will rest it on a pan I use to catch the drips.

I just put the mold at about a 45deg angle, then slide it across.
It scratches the aluminum molds a bit but it does work...for me.

Make a stage out of 1x4 scrap, and top it with some Al sheet.

Rotate bar out of the way. Build a platform.

That's what I do and it works real well.

I cut and stacked 2 short 2x4's under it. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like it will work just fine. I will look into wrapping some aluminum flashing around the top 2x4. The problem only occurs with The Noe HP molds, and the really short Lyman 2 cavity molds seem to want to fall off forward of the bar. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.
