Looks like the hurricane is going to hit us tomorrow.
Looks big on the radar.
Have a match on Sunday, but I'm guessing that will be canceled.
Just hope it's not to bad.

Good luck and stay safe. I was on the gulf coast of Florida on Monday where the rains were so heavy they set downfall records and it wasn't even a hurricane.

Yessir, we got 7" of rain in just a few hours, several streets flooded and a few businesses. No wind though. Having been through a couple of hurricanes don't take it lightly. I hope that the islands don't get hit too bad as there is no place for people to go. Looks like you actually have two of them headed at you. Take care and keep your head down, then check back in with us when the big blow is over. In the meantime you will have a bunch of idiots at the beach and other places who will expect someone to come rescue them when it gets rough. Happens here every time.

I heard on the news, that there is actually two hurricanes headed your way, one behind the first one. They were saying how rare that was...

My first thought was of the Gilligan's Island episode where a storm blew in a large telephone line...then a few days later another storm hit and pulled the line back out so sea...since it was on TV,I figure it ain't that rare :-P

Be careful and stay safe. I've been through several cat1-3 hurricanes. The cat 3 was very scary. I remember getting hit with 3 in south Florida in a few months time. That was the year Katrina hit NO. It hit us but was not as strong as when it hit NO. I haven't seen how powerful this one is predicted to be, but they can all cause destruction. Stay safe.

I saw on the news last night that some stores were price gouging for essentials.
Batteries, water, TP, can food, tarps, rope, tape......
Why do people do things like that?????
Not bottled water left in most stores. Batteries gone. Lines for gas about 20 to 30 minute wait. It's dark out, but no wind or rain.
I'm good. Have water, gas, food, generator, rope, tarp, plywood, and most important.... lots of ammo.
Sunday match canceled.

My son is working a cruise ship there. Waiting to hear from him. Quite sure they will just travel out of harms way.

Heard you guys had a small quake as a prelude to the hurricane. Stay safe and hunker down. Worst weather here is usually winter storms, got 3 feet of snow one Halloween for a nice start to winter. 65mph winds for 7 days to make it into nice drifts. Took them 5 days to clear the 8 miles of road into the casino where I was working.

Be safe I know how bad it can be. I live in south Florida. Only good thing is you know it's coming and you can get ready

Nothing happened where I am.
Little wind, little rain.
Got lucky again.
