Yesterday afternoon in a small ceremony in Monterrey, Ca. my younger son was promoted to "Major" in the Marine Corps. Can't tell you how proud we are of him. Just had to tell someone.

Relay my congratulations to him.

DLI or Naval Postgraduate School?

He's in the post graduate school getting his Masters in physics. When he finishes there he is headed to the Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland to teach physics for three years, then he will go back to flying Cobra's, or least that's the plan. He had wanted to go to China Lake instead of Annapolis as he wants to get into weapons development and testing. His bachelors is in mechanical engineering.
