You guys might get a kick out of this.
A friend and I are both shutter bugs, as well as history and firearm cranks. So we got an idea together to do a 1930's themed photo shoot. Rather than do the typical bad guy/Bonnie and Clyde type thing, we decided to be the good guys. Of course our wives and his son got drug along for the ride. All in all it was an absolute hoot. My wife figured out the costuming, he arraigned the car and we both brought the guns. Here is a few of the pics from the shoot. Enjoy.

Very nice.

I agree! Couldn't help but notice the pocket watch chain in the vest. What's the story on the pocket watch? Mechanical or current japan movement?

Nice eye. Mechanical movement, I believe it belonged to my friends father.

Is that a Greyhound radiator cap?

ha ha! Bill you have a good eye too! I believe you are correct, it is a greyhound. The owner of the car just loves the thing and drives it pretty much every day. He and is wife have a good time with it.

Still have one of those trunks around here somewhere.

Lots and lots of tales of my Model A days.

Those pictures bring back memories.

Thanks for all the kind words. It was a lot of fun to do. I'll post a few more later.
We are starting to get some requests to do some family photos now from friends amd relatives. Maybe I discovered an untapped market to exploit.........

What....no one noticed the BAR? Full auto or semi?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Nice reenactment, did you get any range time after the photo ops?

I've been waiting for someone to point that out.
It is an Ohio Ordinance build, semi auto. And no range time with the BAR. It is unfired, and my friend wants to keep it that way. I seriously questioned his mental stability when he told me that...

I noticed it, but the pocket watch struck me as important enough to inquire. :)

Used to work with a Korean War veteran who used a "BAR" to bag a small Korean deer, so the guys could have a bit of meat.

I never understand that.... guns are made to be shot... and they all have been, proof tested at the factory.....
