As some of you know our fellow caster Dave Breen(neerb) has left us. I am auctioning his mold off to support the site seeing as how I have been unable to contact any kinfolk and such of his.

This was the recent 358627 lyman copy in a lee 6cav that I ran.

Lets let it run till the 2nd of Feb

When the site gets the cash I will send the mold to the winner, good luck and have fun, but more importantly remember those who have went to see the great wheelweight stash in the sky.

here is a link to the original thread:

Bidding starts at 50 bucks

thanks
Michael

I'll go $80 for the mold.

It'll keep my 357 Cowboy rifle going until the 359 190 Ranch Dog mold is available.

Just sent a PM to Gunload Master for information on how and where he wants the yankee dollars for the mould.

This is great. I got interested in the boolit after the group buy closed..and people think the LYMAN moulds are made out of GOLD! Now I'll have a six banger for mass production; the site gets a couple of dollars. Everybody wins.

AND I'll buy a beer and tip the waitress in Dave's memory...I'm sure that he enjoyed a cold one, especially poured by a pretty woman!

Dave always sent an extra 5 or so for a "beer on him" you could tell he was cut from good cloth.....if he is casting now I am sure his boolits never have a wrinkle, and are always perfect...heres to you Dave:drinks:

The Dave Breen 358627 mould arrived today. I'll clean it up and install the handles and hope for good weather this week end to cast a few boolits. St Louis weather has been weird....A couple weeks ago, it was 73 at noon; 25 and snow at 4 PM; 7 degrees overnight.

I think I'll practice some with the engraver thingie in the tool room at work and put Dave's name on the mould to remind me. A lot of us know who he was by the threads on the moulds he never got to use; comments from the guys he sent "an extra $5 for a cold one."

I'll have a cold one in his memory sometime soon and tell the friendly waitress the story; that the tip is from Dave. She has a soft spot in her heart for "us old guys."
