The pictures below are of a Vias type muzzle brake made per the drawing previously shown.

First picture is a side view of muzzle brake.
Second view muzzle braked from end of brake.
Third view looking down threaded end which screws on end of barrel.
Forth view modified boring bar used to cut under cut at ends of threads internal to muzzle brake.

There is some work on the lathe and all of the drilled holes are done on the milling machine.
Making these brakes is time consuming but I have time not so much money.

This brake is for a 308 Win barrel put on a 98K action installed in a BOYDs thumb hole stock.
Many years ago I got many 98K actions at a reasonable price.
Still making sporting rifles from time to time with them.

nice work. i bought one it was called longrange design and of a slightly different type. it worked wery good though. know im using a suppressor instead it hides the flash when pighunting at night. the measurments on your bluprint are very usefull because the next one i wont bye. more time than money !
