Sorry I can't figure out how to flip the photo. Boolit is Lee 200 grain RNFP cast out of ACWW over 6 grains Promo, shot out of Taurus 44 mag with 6.5 inch bbl. Boolit was recovered from 285 lb domestic hog shot behind the ear angling forward. Boolit penetrated the skull, passed through the brain and stopped on the far side of the skull. The white bit is bone embedded in the boolit, there was more but it fell out during cleaning. First time I haven't had a pass through with a CB.

So that's what they look like after they've done the deed. Good work.

What velocity are you getting out of your loading?

Dropped her like a sack of wet grain didn't it?
Yep, holes kill stuff and Boolit holes kill stuff surprisingly quick.

A boolit that size behind the ear would ruin any critter's day. Looks like a fine eating swine. Congrats!

Good test! Do you all scald and scrape or skin the porker?

We skinned it, but I hope to get a scalding rig set up one of these days...

So when and where is breakfast, dinner or supper?

Scald and scrape! You can make so many delicious things with the skin.

Congratulations on the porker! I always enjoy eating the meat that I butcher.
