We went to Millers Creek Lake near Munday, Tx. It is a small reservoir that is even smaller to to the drought the past years. This one has been missed by the recent rains and is in danger of going dry by the end of the year. It is a great fishery for Crappie and catfish with somr bass and stripers. We have had fantastic luck there in the past, but was slow this trip, probably due to a rare cold front in July having just passed. We did manage to catch a decent string of Blue Cat, just nothing lie past trips. Friday night was flat coldand made my sleeping bag feel good. Sorry, I didn't take pics this time.

How big were the blues? Catch them in the local river from time to time and the biggest I have seen was a 30 pounder. Good eating around the 5 pound size. Bigger I toss back to be the brood fish.

This trip the largest was 10 lbs. Last trip we caught a 28 and 32 pound blues. We turn back the large ones also.

I use 10 pound test to make it challenging, landed a 30 pound flathead with it on a medium Ugly Stick.
