So I lied about the NO MAS!

And now, the unveiling! Will it work, or do I go get a cold, ADULT beverage?

That's IT! Going to the kitchen! :x

I tried many sizes, trying to get it all on one screen width. Ended up at 400 pixels wide with no scrolling to the right to read text. Many times I ended up with the dreaded RED X syndrome. Then suddenly, and for no reason known to me, the red x was gone and an image in it's place.

Now, back to red x.

Does this have something to do with the total activity on the site?

Just a little clarification on the above. I resized the image several times, but I started getting the red x rather than an image. VERY frustrating!

I took that out the front door in January. That's about as much snow as we had on the ground here at the house, at least since I got here on Christmas eve.

I think I know now how to post images. The red x is gone and an image shows, at least for now.

I'll try to put a few of my toys on next.

I might make it so all images get made into 400 x whatever format..

I can only say that I HATE having to scroll over to read the end of each and every sentence! And for the rest of the entire thread!! :x

Some way of automatically resizing to "one screen width" may lessen some detail, but sure makes for a much easier read.

And, I suppose, posting a URL to take a reader to a larger picture could work too. I don't know. 8)

I made it so any photo (unless your a premier member) on my photo hosting place defaults to 400 width, which would look just fine on these forums for most people.

It depends a lot on peoples screen size as to how much they can view. My screen size is 1024 x 768. Most peoples are 800 x 600 meaning, I can see more on my screen.

It just depends on the picture size to make you have to scroll back and forth, and there really isnt much we can do aboot that.
