View Full Version : Parkerizing Tank Electric Heated With PID Controller

In an earlier post I showed a PIG controller built in a 50 Cal Ammo can. The PID will control 120 and 220 single phase voltage.

The PID controller is used to control a stainless steel electric heating element for a water heater. The heating element heats the Parkerizing solution in a stainless steel tank that I TIG welded together.

The picture below shows the tank and the PID controller. I was Parkerizing a 98 K for my younger sisters son the day the picture was made.
