Will CFE powder work with lead boolits?

Just wondering.... Has anyone tried CFE powder with cast rifle boolits in a leaded bore? If so, did it help clean it?

as a propellant ... yes.
as a lead cleaner... no.
you could just not get any lead in there in the first place, then you don't gotta worry about it.

The CFE means Copper Fouling Eliminator, not lead, so i doubt that it would clean lead from your bore. I have used it with J-words in 233 Rem and found it's similar to H335. I just recently tried the CFE Pistol also, good stuff, burns clean.

Got a # of CFE pistol, but as I coat, leading isn't a problem. Finding pistol powder is. Got 1k of 9 & 40 to load. Wonder if I'll find 335 or CFE223 first.

LFE would work better with cast!:)
