Does anybody shoot this boolit in there .357,s? Im going to start working with this mold, and was wondering how accurate of a design it is? Noticed that it is pretty heavy on the base end. Does it shoot good at low speed or high? Want to get away from my 358156,so i dont have to frig with gas checks. Have 2 .357,s and they both shoot there very best with the 358156,they are a blackhawk, and a rossi puma. thanks, P.S. I have 10-12 molds for the .357,and none of them can compare with the 358156. Anybody have this same problem?

I've had the 357466 for 35 years, and it is an excellent boolit. I've used it from 800 fps. in .38 special to 1400 fps. in .357 magnum.

Lee makes a boolit mould similar to the 358156 that performs as well.

They have a reputaion for poor accuracy if undersized. I think I would beagle it if it was. Let us know how it shoots. Gianni

Bottom 3 bands measure .361,top band measures .354 I tried these yesterday, with a terrible shooting set-up, and got 4-5 inch groups out of the rossi, was using 15.0 h110. This is the accuracy load with this gun, with the 358156. Maybe it wasnt a fair test because of the terrible rest set-up? 358156 will do an inch with same load. Maybe the 358466,being plain-base, shouldnt be shot so hot? Thats why im going to work up some milder loads for this boolit.

I think being plainbased it would need a slower speed. G
