Powder/primer prices in Hawaii

Just bought 1# of IMR4064 and brick(1000) of primers.
With my "club discount".Best prices I could find.
Powder $39.00...Primers $40.00.....
Not much we can do about it.

You are not, you are paying the hazmat fee for shipping to your supply chain. You even might be paying more than one hazmat fee.

That's about the going rate in these parts too. I was going through a box of older supplies the other day and came across a brick of primers with a price tag of $9.50. Remember those days gone by?

I thought it would be much lower in the states.
I guess it's not that high after all.
I remember when I used to buy primers by the case for under $100.
Powder was under $20.
Miss the good old days.

IMR4064....$21.37!!!!!
Of course hazmat and extra shipping charge not included.

The powder is about $8 dollars higher than what I've seen around here, but the primers are about the same has here.

Here in CA they are now talking about requireing a permit to buy ammunition and stopping mail order purchases too. I don't know if there are restrictions in the bill restricting the purchase of reloading components, Powder, primers, primarily through mail order.

My sister used to live in kalafonacate.
Place she works at mover to Kentucky.
She was happy to move with them.
She even has her CCW.
Something we can't get in Hawaii, unless your rich or important.

I'm paying roughly about $21-$25 per lb of bullseye & about $30-$35 per 1000 for primers, of course this is when I can find it, I'm not going to pay these crazy prices some places are charging.

I caught those Tula primers on sale @ Midway last week, small pistol 5K/$102.99 & small rifle 5K/$99.99 so I got 10k each to break the hazmat down to about $1.50 per thousand. They had a promo code for $10 off your order so in the end I paid a hair less than $22/K to my door.
