Removing alloy

Is there a way by temperature skimming ect to get pure lead by removing alloys from wheel weights. I do a lot of black powder shooting and it is getting very difficult to get pure lead I have a lot of wheel weights. I need pure lead to cast for my 36 pistol and RB in sabots you can get by with alloy. I cast for 54 cal and 36 cal rifle and pistol. I also cast 30, 357, 44 call for pistol and rifle

Short answer, nope! Maybe you could find someone local that would trade some WW for soft but that is about the only way!

just curious, have you tried WW's for RB's?

I use WW's for my RB's and they work good.

If by chance you're around Salt Lake. I have about 90 pounds of pure lead (I think) that I could trade.
