This question is for RCBS/Lyman only.
1) How many different ones are there???
2) Is there a chart to show which one will work with which mould????
3) Is there somekind of picture listing to show the shape of what the punch nose looks like???? (something like the boolet moulds have)

the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook 4'th edition has most of the information that you are asking for.

Most of the time, but not always, the Lyman top punch number is the same as the last three digits of the Lyman mold number.
The easiest way to confirm a top punch for a current production Lyman mold, if you don't have a paper Lyman manual, is their website...for example, if you look at the link below for the Lyman mold 225415, you can see it specifies a top punch number 415.

The Old buffalo is a great resource for Lyman molds numbers paired with photos.

I'll add this.
I don't know of a cross reference for other brands of molds. But I did stumble on the fact that a slightly modified Lyman #467 top punch works for all the Lee 30 cal rifle boolits, since they all have a very similar angle. I have posted about that before and is one of those tidbits that I wish someone would have told me before I bought a few random punches to try out...an important bit of info, especially since the Lee 30 cal rifle mold are the most prolific.

I remember seeing a crossover for Lee to Lyman nose punch.
Anyone point me in right direction.
