Well, I thought it was safe. At least she didn't hit herself in the eye, drop the bottle on her toe & cut her foot open (like her sister did)!

Was showing the most weapons savy guy I know a real cool old semi auto .22 been in the safe for years, had it pointed safe had finger off the trigger when I opened the action a live round ejected. I knew that gun was "unloaded"

Last year i did that with my Weatherby pump shotgun when showing it to another i knew it was unloaded then a shell racked out of the magazine?

coming home from scouting for antelope my buddy denny unloaded my dads remington pump 22.It old him after you dump the tube there was two shells left in the gun.He called bs pumped one shell out said look pulled the trigger bang went in the top of his foot out his little toe we were in my car i ducked dumd things you do at 15 50 years ago

We did have a good laugh, well sort of. Now I get to fix it. That's 7 ft. up into the fixture, from a 1/2 full champagne bottle (cheap stuff). And she wonders why I put a towel over the cork. You just never know unless you triple check.

During one hospitalization, Dad's roommate was there after having his eye shot in to his head by a Champagne cork. We weren't rich enough to have had it been an issue at our house.
