Second Amendment Foundation

Dear Gun Rights Supporter,

I would like to invite you to our 29th annual GRPC which will be taking place September 26, 27 and 28, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Airport hotel in Chicago, Illinois. This is your once-a-year chance to network, get an insider's look, and plan pro-gun rights strategies for the coming year.

Past GRPC's have outlined victory plans and made public the latest firearms trends. They allow you a first-hand chance to hear movement leaders--and make your voice heard.

Conference attendance is free.

Hotel reservations for the special discounted room rate of $112 per night can be made by calling 888-421-1442, and telling them you are planning on attending the Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC). Additionally, you can book your hotel reservations online through this link . Rooms are selling fast, make sure to book your room soon!

This year we'll take a look at critical issues such as: bans on semi-auto firearms and magazines, concealed and open carry, federal legislation, BATFE policies, gun show regulation, state and local activity, the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty and the most recent Right to Keep and Bear Arms court cases.

As in the past, the Second Amendment Foundation will not only pick up the tab for lunch, but will also provide more than $125 worth of vital pro-gun rights materials to each attendee. In addition to the box lunch and free materials, you will have the opportunity to chat with the speakers at the two planned evening receptions.

This event is so important to our cause, that the SAF Board of Trustees has elected to help underwrite the entire cost of the event. *Your cost to attend this event is absolutely free!*

We need your participation. Seating is limited. Go to www.saf.org now to register.

If you have any questions or wish to register over the phone, please call the SAF office at (425) 454-7012.

Sincerely yours,

Alan M. Gottlieb

Just in from MollyB (Valinda) this mourning.

The plan is to do the photo Op at the IllinoisCarry table with our banner. Thinking the afternoon break at 3:15 p.m. would be a good time on Saturday.

NOW who can pass up this chance to meet and greet the pair of folks that have fought so long to get CCW here in Illinois and say a BIG "THANK YOU" TO VALINDA and her partner and husband MIKE.

YES we have the OK to CCW there.

BOTH AIRPORTS ARE SHUT DOWN

No idea when they will reopen.

A fire in the air traffic control building in Aurora Il has shut down ALL flights both in and out of O hare and Midway till further notice.

What will happen to the meeting?

Yes Friday was definitely slowed down by the fire.

Lots of empty chairs.

Saturday started packing em in and I even had a fantastic young lady ask ME for info and tell me just how bad GFZs can be.

You should hear her story IF you make IGOLD next year and it will break your heart.

The last I saw of her she and Valinda were hugging and making plans.

Also FINALLY met searcher 4851 (the only CB member that was there).

Tons of great information and contacts were made there.

Also got great hugs and kisses from 2 of the young ladies that went all the way to the Supreme court and WON to get Illinois our 2A rights.

Sorry that the other members from here could not make it.

I can testify to the fact that there was TONS of information available.

Lots of interesting speakers and folks there as well. I got to meet and talk to a few people that I've read their material for years.

Nice to have finally met Bad Water Bill as well (it was a pleasure to meet you sir). Too bad that more folks from here couldn't make it.

It was a worthwhile experience, and they were even able to educate me a bit.
