Even the dog wouldn't eat the food they'll give you and it probably won't melt down to make good bullets. It might work as lube. Good luck, Lloyd.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Prayers and good thoughts coming your way.

They carved me up last April, not my back but they removed and replaced my shoulder. I would be further along if I followed my therapy. (That's a hint),

Anyway, deal with it as best as you can.

Call on us if you need anything.

Good luck Lloyd. They do allow dogs in here if they are well behaved. Ask, I did and they said sure!!! Took the dog in, up the elevator and to my wifes room. No one even looked sideways at us.

Lloyd, I had a partial proctectomy (took out a piece of my colon) last Monday - 5 days ago. I was released less than 48 hours after surgery. I went to the range today. Hooah. I did not shoot, just went to see the guys for a little while who were shooting the regularly monthly mil bolt match. Even drove myself. Am I ready to go back to work? Not hardly. But it was nice to get out fer a spell.

My hospital stay wasn't really too bad. The nurses and techs were great. 'Course it was only two days and a wake up. I even talked the doc into taking the catheter out early. Even joked around with the anethesiologist - for about 47 seconds.... Original plan was four days, so I feel fortunate.

I hope yours turns out as well as mine! My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

btw, my pathology came back negative.

Hey Guy maybe you can smuggle some of the lead shieiding used in x-ray or those little crucibles used to store radioactive medicine. Gotta be some lead in that place. Get a doctor to put on your discharge sheet to include a couple hundred pounds of lead.:-D

Good Luck Lloyd! My brother is going through something similiar and I had no clue how much pain he was in until I spent a week with him last fall. (he says I was the cause of his pain, but watching him sweating in a cool room told me differently)

Take care,

LLoyd

Things should should go well but if they don't; when we get together up yonder I expect you to have a good range set up with no wind conditions, a loading bench with every loading tool already made that we can think of, perfect moulds for every bullet desired, unlimited supplies of brass, powder and primers, magnum potsd of perfect alloys that never need fluxed or go empty, our dream revolvers already worked out with Elmer and Bill..........now before you think that might be too good to pass up just remember to get you ass better as we've to much to do down here before we get to that big range in the sky!

The best of luck to you Lloyd, we will keep you and yours in our prayers. But please do us one small favor, pay attention to what the doctors and nurses tell you to do. A good patient always heals faster. There is way too much loose lead in Michigan that needs a good man to smelt down into bullets and send it down range. I think all of us here will nominate you for the job. Heal up fast and get back to smelting/casting/shooting.

Wicky

I had some bad pipes back in '99 and spent 10 days in hospital after they cut on me. It was kinda forward thinking hospital and 6 days there my wife showed up with my dog. She jumped into bed with me and did not want to leave when visiting hours were over. She was the best medicine I ever had. The dog not the wife.

I'll be saying some prayers for you LLoyd as ya can't have too many!

It goes without saying that if i can ever do ANYTHING for any of you guys its yours for the asking!
