Using several style bullets over the same powder charge of 30.5 gr n133 and Wolf primer, velocity about 2000fps. The Lee 312-160-2r #90361 (C.E. Harris design) cast using strait linotype alloy was clear winner. Bore ride section of this AK 47 bullet is tapered. All bullets were sized to .309 and hand dipped in alox. Bullets were shoved deep into rifling when chambered. Barrel was hot and shots were hurried. Caliber is 308 Winchester (2.800 OAL) shot off Harris Swivel bipod.

Top right was first five shot group. Lower five shot group was shot after adjusting scope.

Good shooting and a nice looking boolit too. Looks like an all around target and hunting load.

This bullet is the most concentric with no offset. I am imprest with this Lee bullet and CNC lathe bored mould.

Gas check shank is large and check must be flared to fit before crimping. Bottom of Lee sizer must be opened up and polished so that FLAIRED Gas Check does not hang up during entry into sizer. The hollow ground tip on sizer stem seats checks very square and makes room for raised sprue cut if any.

The results look well worth the extra bit of work. I have to go to a little extra step or two with my homeade checks, but the results are well worth it there too, at least for me. You've sure got em wanting to make bug holes. Good job!

That's absolutely outstanding.
