does anyone know of a barrel maker who is currently making stainless barrels for flint or percussion t/c hawkins/renegades? I have a green mountain I bought years ago, on one of mine, that shoots great and cleans up even better. I just got a return email from them saying all their drop in barrels and stainless barres, for muzzle loaders, have been discontinued. thanks xp

try norm johnson, at high plains, turtle lake north dakota. he may take on the job. i have a stainless barrel on a .448 cast bullet side lock. it is a lot easier to clean between rounds than any other barrel ive ever had before or after. idaho ron has a stainless on one of his side locks. really like them.

just punch in norm johnson high plains gun smith at turtle lake north dak. he is very good, i think he both buttons a new barrel and can cut one also. does real good barrel relining also. his .22 long rifle barrel shoot in the same hole.
