SWEET!!! I wondered about this. You do realize that the entire Godzilla genre is a historical commentary on Japanese/American relations since WWII, right?

Saw it this weekend too. Other than the slow burn of a beginning I enjoyed it.

My kids are early risers and we've watched over a dozen Godzilla films in the last two years. But no iguanas in this one like the 90s stinkpot? I think the son of Godzilla and Mechagodzilla had better effects than that!

Cant wait to see this and 1000 Ways to Die in the West

The Mysterians scared me. But I was 9 in 1960.

This still scares me.

1000 ways to die in the west has my interest. Godzilla not so much.

After the things you have experienced so far in Texas your count is probably down to 657 by now.:kidding:

Why not???

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Well, it happened like this.

I went to the opening of a movie I wanted to see, it was Shout at the devil by Lee Marvin.
After taking my seat a woman and her kid took their seats right behind me.
The little brat never set down or shut up, and was moving up and down the isle hitting me inthe back of the head in his rambuckshous antics and the mom did nothing to control him.

I decided that no matter where I moved in the theater he would be a distraction during the movie, not only for me but everyone else.

The second time he made contact with the back of my head in the 20 seconds of appearing in the isle behind me, I turned around and said to him, "Hey kid, why don't you set down and behave yourself and quite hitting me in the head!"

I turned around and with in 30 seconds he was at again, and his mom never said one thing to him to stop him from acting up. Then, in his out of control-acting up mode he made contact with my head again. I again turned around and said same thing, only twice as loud. The kid didn't appear retarded or mentality dysfunctional, just an out of control kid, who's mother had no will to do anything.

I was hoping the kids mother would take control and that would be the end of it. But, no, the kid shifts into a higher gear, and is standing on the seat jumping from one to the other until he tripps and falls onto the back of my seat hitting me on the head & shoulder.

I stood up turned around and yelled at him pointing my finger at him, "YOU TOUCH ME ONE MORE TIME, I'M GONNA HIT YOUR MOTHER RIGHT IN THE F'N MOUTH."

They got up and left, and I think the left the theater. At least I didn't see or hear the kid after that.
