I'd rather walk the plank.

Talk about cabin fever!! I'll bet after a month on that thing I'd be looking for the nearest shore boat...We used to spend a lot of time in Hawaii (not vacations) and heard of folks talking about Island Fever...they would run out of new things to do and see and it really became a trapped feeling....lots of drug abuse and alcoholism in the Islands that the tourists never see or experience. Think I'd rather not be "confined" on a fancy ship or island...it it were called a prison people would be trying to escape...how many "dinners out" and massages does a person need to be content?

Cheaper to join the Navy.

I might could do it if I were the only one living there. Could build a helluva rifle range on top. Trap off the back. Floating buoys for distance. Set my smelting pot up and plumb the exhaust into one of those stacks. It could work.....just not with all those people.

There are elderly that live year around on a ship, about the same a month as assisted living quarters.

All the appeal of a kidney stone.
Being away from the pines, hardwoods, farms and livestock of P.R. County, it would be padded bulkheads and thorazine in short order aboard all that "luxury".

Cheers, Ya'll... :drinks:,

Pass, no way no how. Now a nice house boat where I was the only one aboard...

I don't think they would take too kindly to molding bullets beside the pool either - lol

now if they would load one up with shooters and cruised off the cost of somilia. sort of like the trains going through the heards of buffalo in the west.

There might be an issue with range markers, and backer boards, but consider the long range possibilities.
If I recall correctly you'd have about 22 miles of clear space.

My luck we'd hit an iceberg the first night out.

I work with a couple of Electricians, that lived/worked on a cruse for a couple years. They loved it.

spent 5 years living on warships, im pretty certain the accomodations on a cruise ship are much more spacious.
