Since the error message went away the site performance for me has been slow and doggy. Inbox and sent fold takes forever to open. Anyone else having issue?

The slow performance comes and goes, I just figure it is internet traffic at times, but I do not know much about computers. I have noticed when it slows down, some other sites are still fast. Is it possible that traffic on this site could cause it to slow when it is at it's peak??

I've noticed that when I click the unread posts , then start opening the ones that interest me , they sometimes take a bit longer to open ..

Maybe I should open the ones that don't interest me ?

I just had to block what can be a dangerous script the one that asks if you want to leave or stay on the page. Malware has been known to hide in it so I created a blocking filter. It is a matter of how the pages are coded that turns it on and it really should be turned off.

How often do you guys notice the slowness? Is it throughout the entire day, or are their particular times when it seems very slow?

The slow downs the last couple of days seem to be random through out the day, not really bad, but not a pattern either.

I notice random slowness at various times of the day, and it really has to be slow for me to notice since I am on dial-up that runs at no faster than 28.8 kbps normally.

I also randomly get the do you want to leave this page that MaryB mentioned.

I've got a new issue here , started today , the green check mark by the threads I am subbed to is no longer there . I still get email notifications and the new threads I'm subbed to are in my CP , but when I click the new threads to get the thread list , the green check mark by my subbed threads isn't there

BUT.................have you tried the NEW search engine in the white block.

Much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Using the Google engine.
