I got a new toy and I do think I have a good load worked up sorry but not cast bollits. I'm using 178gr Hornandy A-Max over 39grs Benchmark ( I miss wrote the weight of the boolit on the target). Range was at 100yd off bench. Rifle is a Savage HS Precision in 308 win and it has a fixed 10 power mil dot Super Sniper scope.

Not too shabby. Those Model 10's do real good right out of the box. I bought a Predator Hunter Max1 in .243 Win not long back and these were the very first groups from new Winchester brass-first reloads. I think I'll keep this one.

it is amazing what new tech equipt and tooling can do with less man power! You got a keeper looks good, don't get bored with it.

Great rifle. I have a 110fp tactical in 308 (older series when they were using long action for everything) and it is a tack driver. Sub moa consistently with factory barrel. I'm shooting some nosler custom comp at 155 grs weight with 44 gr of imr4064 (a great powder for 308). I was around your result (edit - i confused post and looked at ColColts targets...i see you have .47 already!), which are already great, before bedding action. Directly after bedding and using the same loads i started shooting less than half inch five shot groups consistently.

Enjoy that fine rifle,
kevin

Yep, mine is 3 years old and shot the same way on the first trip to the range. Sweet rifle.

Shoots Nosler 175CC great out to 800yds.

Working on a LR cast load now.
