Your would be better to use a flat stick like a paint stirrer. The dowel rod is not dry and takes much longer dry out as you put it into the melt VERY SLOWLY. Be careful.

Your right. It does like to splatter a little, but it's what I had on hand. See a painting project around the corner though.

Are we going to paint the oak dow rod ( dowel rod?) , the ProMelt, the 34 Ford wagon (woody) the surf board or the house ????? I'm confused! Lets go surfing!
