Can someone tell me what size gas check i need to size to .315 Will a .30 cal check work or do i need something bigger.

The choice depends more on the size of the shank on the cast bullet. If the 30 gas check will fit your shank it will size just fine. I use 375 checks on my 366 caliber bullets.

If your checks are a little bit small, find a ball bearing that is bigger. Place the bearing in each check and tap with a hammer, to open the gas check a bit.

I have .30 gator checks and they fit the shank. Waiting for my lee .314 lube sizer to get here and was hoping i would not need a larger checks.

Get out your dial caliper and measure the checks. Are the 0.314" or greater in outside diameter?
