First off, thanks to the list. I do things kind of slow. Let's me think about what I want and what I need.

Box looks and works good. Was gonna camo paint side after cutting holes and scuffing it up. Not. Works fine and I'm the only one lookin at it. Thought I might need to cut a slot on bottom edge for cooling but I don't think its needed.

Master switch to right is the master. Switch to left was gonna be current flow indicator. Not used but filling hole. Same goes for terminal board, not used but filling holes.

Bottom plug is controlled and used for controlling Lee pot. Top plug is hot and will be used for hot plate. 103585

Water boiled at 212f as it should. I'm sea level. Thermo from a site supplier matched perfectly. No leaks from the Lee pot, hope it stays that way.

Pay no attention to black marks around small switch on control panel, call it a learning experience, like I haven't had enough of those.

I made one similar to control a Parkerizing tank heater.

Worked Very Well.

I wanted both 220 and 110 control, used my extension cord from my TIG welding machine to get power to the ammo can PID

One side was the power coming in the other side had a 220 and a 110 plug.

Stored the temperature probe in the can.

Put a 20 amp switch to turn the power off and on.

Same idea with probe. Cut the slot/hole from the top so I can I pull it out and put it in the can for storage. Lookin at yours, now I'm gonna have to paint it. : )

Looks fine to me other than I'd have some heat vent holes in the box. Maybe they're out of sight.

Don't paint. It's a work of art just as it is!

The ammo box format looks good. Finished assembling mine last night but I used a scrap stainless housing from a wall mount industrial battery charger. I cut out mounting locations for a second PID and internal components, anticipating a second controller once I get my home built pot done to go with my Lee 10 pounder.

Great idea....And a good place to store the probe when not using the PID!
