anyone have the link to the burning chart that had the surplus powders on it. I had it and must have deleted it. Its the one that was very extensive and had the surplus and discontinued powders on it.

Why are there gaps in the second chart?

Why are there gaps in the second chart?
Not trying to drag up an uber old thread, just merely give my guess as to why the gaps exist. This is merely a guess, but maybe its for in the future a powder comes along (we'll call it "BRE") thats burns between ex: 49) SP 8 and 50) N340. This BRE would now be 50). And instead of the remaining 138 powders having to be renumbered, only one is. That's just my guess. And I'm only coming to that conclusion because it seems like having two sets of three empty slots 50 apart and one at the end is strategic.
I could be totally wrong. I've got a GED and science was never my strong subject when I was in school so take it for what it's worth. Just trying to help, Tacoma.

I like this one: http://gsgroup.co.za/burnrates.html It give one a much better idea how the powders relate to each other than does a simple numbering system.

My personal guess is that they know that there are going to be new powders that come along sometime down the road and want room for them on the chart.

Expanding for the future. Good Call.
I have yet to see a chart with 7383 on it.
