Today was a good day, The wife and I took a ride to check on camp. That in itself was pretty darn good. The snowbank where I shoot at during the winter months has melted down some and I was able to pick just over five pounds of mostly my own Cast Boolits.
fun fun!

Ever think about putting a tarp down before the snow flys so when the snow melts all your lead is laying on the tarp come spring?

Me? That would require foresight. What the heck is that? :)

Just make sure you don't start shooting at the snow bank until it's deep enough. Then you'd have a boolit strainer. LOL

Not until about half way through the winter that I realized how effective a snow bank was for a good boolit trap. For sure this up coming winter I'll plan out a five foot wide designated area to set the targets. Because of the extreme cold I don't like to be far from the door. I've even been known when the bride isn't around to shoot from just inside the door. Sometimes I'll shoot a few out one door then check the fishing tilts out the other door. Like most camps it has two front doors.

Nice find, reminds me that I have to figure out a sand trap area for my plate rack this year. Should be an interesting endeavor.
