Seems I get more lead from a bucket of wheel weights than I'm reading most of y'all do.
I just finished smelting 6 full buckets... full to the top. I thought 2 of the buckets were already sorted, but only 1 was... plumb full of COWW only. I ended up with 53 10-pound ingots... that's 530 pounds of COWW metal from 6 buckets (I weighed several of the bricks and they're at least 10 pounds or a bit more). Not only that I still have one bucket darn near full of SOWW I haven't melted yet... I don't know what it weighs, but I can't pick that bucket up. If it's that heavy there has to be a couple hundred more pounds there... so something well over 700 pounds of lead alloy from 6 buckets. Ended up with something between ½-¾ bucket of steel weights, and maybe... maybe 30-35 zinc.
So what are you guys getting from a bucket??
