Has anyone tried ARComp powder from Allient?
I saw some today available so bought it.
Does it work with boolits?

Also,
Moderators:
I looked for a thread to ask specifically about powder, I didn't see a thread.
I only saw a thread for canister powders.
What about opening a thread for general powders?

Canister powder is any powder that isn't black or military surplus. AR Comp is a canister powder.

I picked up 10lbs and i used it for .308. I started 2grains below starting data and i pushed a 139gr j word to 2800fps. Seems to work well dose not cycle my M1A 100% need to bump up the charge.

you could look in the loads section, or try using this.

it is customized for the site.

i used up a couple pounds in my ar's with no problems. Went back to LGS to get more and it was sold out. There is not a lot of load data for it, even on alliant's site.

I like it. It's my go to for 55 gr SPs after trying H335 and TAC and some of the other favorites. Haven't tried it with cast however. It is supposed to be a little faster than RL-15.

I have an un-opened 8lb jug I got last year at a gunshow. I'm interested in the responses here

I am mostly wondering about this powder for .223 boolits.

I bought it for 223 55 grain j bullets. But I get the impression it's for heavier bullets
