mold pin fell out while casting

OK did some casting tonight usng a lee two cavity mold, it has cast about 50 rnds now. and tonight while casting the screw in pin fell out when I hit the spru plate, this is the second time it has happened. Is there any fix to this, or should I just send it back to Lee, this is the pin that hold the mold to the handle

i would put a screw of some kind in it..

Those are actually 'drive pins' rather than screws. The 'threads' are just there to displace block material and give them some grip. Try a little high heat adhesive or a slightly fatter pin.

Thanks for the replys, I will try a larger dia screw, only does it when the mold gets up to temp.
