Since I don't cast my own, who makes and sells the best cast bullet for Model 1894 Winchesters?
Dave at Montana Bullet Works has retired. Is Bullshop Bullets still supplying shooters?

Plain base and/or gas checked for .25-35, .30 WCF, .32-40&.32 WS, and .38-55.

Bullshop is still , or should say, back in the boolit business.

My old 94 likes the 311041 pretty well.

That is good news. Before I posted my question, I did find them on the internet in a few places. One showed they were closing the bullet part of their business. Another site--they were not taking orders until mid October. I would like to try their bullets, find good loads, and then stock up on a bazzillion slugs--but to wait until October to order bullets, most of our big game seasons would have ended by the time they arrived and I had worked out the loads.

We have a nice batch of .32-40 and .32 WS rifles, so I'd like to get them accurate with lead prior to deer season/October. No panic necessary though; we have jacketed loads for them. But, the way my sons go through ammunition, lead would be easier on the rifling. Plus, cast bullets are just plain cooler! (And isn't that the most important aspect of stalking game with a 100+ years-old Winchester?)--Kidding. We love carrying and shooting the old ones. The .38-55 is driving me crazy in chasing a load. I was nearing an accurate one with Montana bullets, but Dave ran into a health issue that ended his casting wizardry.

IIRC that has changed, you should get a hold of bullshop, I seem to recall he has started back up making boolits recently.

Just put a second order in with the bullshop. He is filling orders. Ordered some .375 for a 94 a couple months back. Great stuff!!
