Hey All I'm looking for some software that I can keep track of my reloads on.
Prefer free but inexpensive will work.
Do you have a favorite you use?
I'm finally getting my reloading room put back together after several years.
We had a flood several years ago and my room was turned into storage.
Thanks LaMar

I've tried a few but always migrate back to an Excel spreadsheet. It's on-hand and 100% customizable. Do you have Excel on your machine? Give it a try if you do and you may surprise yourself with your tracking log after a while. Good luck...

Looks like this. My columns go onward forever to the right but you can customize it to be as nerdy or as basic as you need it to be.

Lamar,

This software is not free but, so far, there have been no complaints about the cost after having used the programs.

The software was designed to keep records on all loads, good and bad, so that the same mistakes will not be repeated.

If you dont want to pay the cost for excel... open office isnt a bad alternative. It's not perfect but its free.

Another vote for Excel. I can also access it on my iPad and iPhone!

Pretty much any spreadsheet will do whatever you want. You can lay information out any way you like it, and always add in more columns if you feel you want to track additional information. Heck, I still use an old Microsoft Works spreadsheet program, and it works just fine. You can also sort the info any way you want it. Very handy. JMHO

I use comma or text delimited column spread data formats as I got tired of updating our mailing list every couple of years. Plain text never goes out of style.

Gnumeric is a free spreadsheet that can save in most standard formats. It can open or save Excel format. It won't expire, wear out, or have the data inaccessible due to new formats.

I recommend "Point Blank" from http://www.huntingnut.com/
It will record your load, point of impact, trajectory calculations etc to printing of target to shoot at.
and is FREEWARE, you cannot beat FREE :)
