1. Only Thunder 2-Zero and Jr. are eligible for this special drawing.
2. Only Thunder 2-Zero and Jr. will get every die set they requested prior to post #49 being posted in the thread "A limited number of die sets are available".
3. I have finally decided which caliber/manufacturer die sets will go in those two boxes
4. The die sets which go in those boxes will not be rare or difficult to guess! They will be pistol calibers to start with, but they will not be limited to the calibers listed as available in the thread "A limited number of die sets are available" and they will not be calibers requested by either Thunder 2-Zero and Jr.
5. In the event both Thunder 2-Zero and Jr. guess the same number correctly, then I will add another set of dies which will be a rifle caliber and solicit a new guess. Should this result in another tie, then it will be resolved with a die roll or some similar method.
6. Thunder 2-Zero and Jr. (or their designated spokesman will PM their guess to me and the first guess will be the only guess accepted.
7. One final comment. This is not a contest so I can display my knowledge! These should be easy to guess! Only pistol calibers to start with and 9mm, 45 ACP, 223, & 256 Win are not a valid choice!

Now we need a little help with this as we don't have three position shell plates to go with this press! Anyone out there willing to help?

Now to muddy the water a little. Thunder 2-zero and Jr. will PM their answer to me. Everyone else is welcome to post their guesses!
Only Bjornb and I really know!

I think I can dig up a 3 hole turret plate for the winner.
If I find one (pretty sure I can) I will ship it to the winner on my nickel.

See the thread "A limited number of die sets are available." There was a reason for all of the questions!

My guess is 38 spec/357 mag and 44 mag

Best possible guess! Better than either of the official guesses!

Now you can try to guess steel or carbide, and which brands of dies. Don't be fooled by the boxes. Those were empty props!

Both in steel

Well everybody, it is time to announce the results and I am so embarrassed by how this worked out.

We have two awesome members to consider here.
I PMed Jr. to let him know Thunder 2-Zero was active duty for training and it would take a while for his Grandfather to contact him, explain the rules, and get his guesses to me and not to assume a two week delay meant he had lost.

This is the response he PMed to me:

I was unaware the other member was on active duty. In this case I would rather he get the press I will be able to get my own eventually and have access to a couple any time I need.
Please withdraw me from the giveaway and give it to Thunder 2-zero

I called Jr. and let him know there were really two Lee Pro 1000 presses as I had bought one to go with the one BjornB had donated when I told him about my plans for the die thread "A limited number of die sets are available." Since he wouldn't be depriving a military member, he did provide guesses and they were better guesses than Thunder 2-Zero.

Well, it turns out I really don't have two of the Lee Pro 1000. I have one and a Lee Turret Press. They both look a lot alike and they both use three position turrets. The Pro 1000 auto indexes and uses a three position shell plate and I only have the .45 ACP one which is mounted in the press. The Turret Press uses standard shell holders like a Rockchucker.

Now to explain "a lot alike." They use three position turrets and they are Red like Lee and Hornady, not Blue or Green like the Dillon and RCBS equipment I am familiar with!

The die sets are Lyman Carbide 38/357 and Lyman Carbide 44Spl/Mag.
The guesses were:
Jr. 357 Mag & 40 S&W
Thunder 2-Zero 40 S&W/10mm & 380 Auto

And the Winners are:

Jr. gets the Lee Pro 1000 press and die sets on the left and Thunder 2-Zero gets the Lee Turret press on the right.

I apologize for the confusion I caused and I will dig around and find some more goodies, such as shell holders and other goodies, to add to the Lee Turret press an the right.
I will try to mail Jr.'s press next week as all of his stuff is ready to pack.
Thunder 2-Zero's stuf will take longer as I still have not managed to sort the die sets from the die thread "A limited number of die sets are available" which he desired.

Thunder 2-Zero's press has not been shipped yet. I am still waiting for a complete mailing address. Thunder 2-Zero has not logged onto the site recently.

I know its been a while since I received my press but I want to offer up a HUGE thank you to Ron for everthing he has done, not just for me but for the entire site.

Your heart truly is made of gold sir.

I will post some pictures of the press as soon as I can get benches built in my newly commandeered reloading room. (And the wife thought it was for storage.... how silly)

Thank you again

Aaron.
