Sighting in a new rifle .............

My brother forwarded these to me, none of his relations this time. I don't know the story behind it - but it sure looks like the bore sighter was still in the barrel when the shooter touched one off.

I'm surprised his face is all bloodied. Looks like it was a barrel burst, peeling back from the muzzle, with the action intact.

Probably from the scope. That is why the old target rifles all had flags on the false muzzle.

I've seen it before. Yes it was fired with the bore sight still in!

Aren't you supposed to put the red dot on the target and pull the trigger?
That's what they do in all the movies...!?!?
