If you get 60% lead WW's, your fortunate. Good luck. Mike

I'll bet he gets close to 95% lead wheel weights... I know I do out here in fly-over-country.
I can go through a bucket and often only get 6-8 zinc, and maybe a dozen or so steel. Most of the tire stores, service stations and independent repair shops are still using lead weights out here. I see a few more zinc and steel in buckets from the new car dealership because they service more "new" cars... but even they are still using lead replacements. Funny thing is, I also see way more of the soft lead "tape" type weights coming from the dealership... not sure why that is.

This tread reminds me... I have 6 buckets of wheel weights to sort through, and they're using up valuable floor space in the shop.

Congrats! Hard to beat free WW's. All that's needed to make great boolits (for most uses) from WW alloys is a bit of tin now and then.

About 10% steel so far. Only about 5lbs of ZN. Anybody in st.Charles no area want to be a mentor?
