So I just got a chance to fire up the pot and cast out about 70-80 of these 155gr pills.

This is my first "new style" Lee mold. I am very pleased. The mold casts very well and drops boolits freely out of the

mold at around .3105"-.3115" with the alloy in my pot.45-45-10 WW-PB-Lino. They actually weigh around 158.8gr

on average. They will receive Gator checks and CR lube and be loaded in .308 I have high hopes for a good practice

round to shoot steel out to 500 yards. I can't wait to start some load development with this new boolit.

Can you tell me what the nose measures, I am interested in that mold for my mosin nagants and need a little fatter nose than normal .309 molds. My kee c312-185 mold works ok with PC.

.303 nose sounds good! If I can get one and make it drop .313-.314 I'm set

Work up to a full case of Re19. I started at a 38 gr. Results are very good.

Full case of WC860 on top of 3 gr. of Re7 or IMR3031 also worked.

I just got a new C312-155-2R and Cast a couple of Hundred Projectiles. Lubed and Gas Checked they weigh an average of 168 grains when Cast from COWW. I am sizing them to .314. I have not measured them as Cast. One Cavity sticks a little and I will polish it with a little Tooth Paste around a Projectile. On Saturday I found 21 grains of ADI AR2207 [ Hodgdon 4198 ] under them returned a 5 shot 1 inch I hole group [ strung verticaly ] from my Baikal 7.62x39. Very happy with the Mould. Just hope the Alloy is soft enough and the Projectile is effective on Game, will find out in 2 weeks

Yeah, this is a great boolit. I have a genuine Lee, and a HM2 group buy copy, both shoot great in my 03 Springfield's over 16 grains of 2400. In fact I am switching to this boolit as my match boolit for NRA Highpower this year. Shot the SAECO 301 for years, no complaints but the Lee seems to shoot just as well using 3/4 as much precious lead. Thinking ahead you know!

Well I finally got some loaded up last night. I loaded 10 with 16gr of 2400, and 10 with 19gr of SR4759

Boolit weighed right around 163gr with lube and check.
Loaded up in FC brass to 2.680" hope to get out and test these this weekend.

Both loads sot pretty good. Range was 50 yards. Shot two ten shot groups. One group for each powder. 102863102864
The load on the left is the SR4759 at just under one inch
The load on the right is 2400 at 3/4"

I might try a Dacron filler and see if it tightens the groups even more.

I also bought one of those new style molds. I was pleasantly surprised how uniform and clean they came out. It is a fine mold.

IMHO this could be the best design Lee has ever produced.

I'm very happy with the way it performs in my .308.
Now I just need to shoot them at a greater distance
