I've been using the feline pine stuff for my cat for years. Once I started casting boolits I've been using fresh pine pellets wetting them down and letting them dry as a flux. Then I went to tractor supply. They have about a 20lb bag of the stuff for $6 labeled as horse bedding. Works just as cat litter for about 1/8th the cost. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Thanks, Jeff

Just make sure the cat hasn't used it first!

Jeff,

Why do you wet them and then let them dry? Does this reduce them from a pellet state into something akin to sawdust? Thanks.

When I saw fire wood I will fill a pillow case with the saw dust and store in in a dry place untl needed.
