After more than two years of fighting, the cancer finally got him. Growing up on a farm as a kid I still remember talking guns and reloading with him every morning before we headed to the barn for chores. I miss him already.

Glad you shared that with him, I never had that with my dad. You have something to keep and share with your kids and grandkids and they likewise would share it with theirs..

30 years ago for me I still look down the street to see if his truck is in the driveway when I go by the old house. Time heals all but I still miss him.
