Ok this might be for laughs, but in a pinch and if you can't find beeswax to make lube with, what kind of wax is on a toilet ring seal? It's cheap and easy to find.

Haven't used beeswax in years in toilet rings. A lot of sythetic, or paraffin based material.

heard the toilet rings are now made with pretty low quality wax and wax substitutes. Nothing there for making quality lube

If you do decide to use a toilet ring, I would suggest using a new one.

Just about anything can be used as flux, if your careful.

Stay away from it it is no good for lube it stays sticky for ever.Made a batch and end up using it to flux with,The wax is not the quality you need for boolit loob.
