How do I bypass this piece of junk regulator

After a few uses the SAFTY button stuck in the down position and all was well.
Went to smelt today and I couldn't get it to work.
Took the regulator to a propane place that can make hoses and such but the threads that come off the regulator must be metric. Know of any quick fixes.

I mest up having a hart time with windows 7.
