Do cold temps. harm springers or air,springers ?

Doesn't usually harm them if kept dry, but does reduce their velocity often. I also had one freeze shut on me once. I think I'd gotten some sweat into the pin or moisture of some kind as temps dropped. Just bound it up and had to warm with a lighter to get to open. lol

It makes the grease on the spring "harder" and the drag lowers velocity.

If all is working well the denser the air the higher the velocity. Not by much but measureable.

M nitropisiton gun chages less than 5 FPS from 20 deg to 95 deg.its not enough to even worry about
