Hello Folks,

Have any of you tried this sight? How did you like it (pros and cons)?

I put one on an EMF Hartford brass frame in 45 colt. It is quick on the target and on my first trip to the range i put 5 shots in two touching holes at 25 yards. standing offhand at 50 all ten were minute of torso. I like them more than the buckhorn that came with it, I think i got the .093 apperature. For me other than its not traditional looking its a good sight.

I love them. Simple, easy to install, easy to use. Your eye will automatically center the front post in the aperture (no matter what size). I have one mounted on my 1895 Cowboy 38-55, 1894 44mag, and 336 30-30. With the low pro you get the longest sight radius of any rear sight short of a tang sight.

I love Skinner Sights too. Simple, straightforward design, easy to adjust and then secure to lock down. They work perfect, don't need batteries, and look good (in my opinion). If one likes peep sights they are worth a look, trust me. JW

Freaking love 'em! As simple as it can get. My little blackout bolt gun has one I put on & I drift the front sight for windage. I draw 1.5" groups with it at 100m & my front bead is .091" so its by now means a target sight.

I have one on my Marlin 336, really like it. I would like to get on of the finer apertures for target shooting but for plinking and hunting the medium thats included is great.

I have various Skinners on my Rifles and they are simple, rugged and compact. I will be putting a Low Pro on my current Project Rifle
