Several months ago I mentioned the HAWKS club in Winnsboro, Texas....our mission is to educate people about guns, shooting, and gun safety...to that end we sponsored a rim fire shoot last Saturday where participants would shoot .22 pistols and .22 rifles.....We had a total of 10 participants from age 6 to 74....yes 74. The shoot was primarily for the youth experience.....but the 74 (2nd childhood) got interested in pistols and rifles....and did a great job....
All participants had coaches and inspite of a really cold day the shoot was a success......we will have two more shoots (last Saturday of April and last Saturday of May)....I think us coaches had as much fun as the kids......Just had to brag on the HAWKS........
