Been looking for a small ATV, never had one before. Something for hunting and pushing snow. Long comes a guy with a 1988 Suzuki LT-F ATV 2X4 said it's junk. If you come get it that's cheaper than me taking it to the landfill. Don't know that the landfill would have taken it but that's another story. Brought it home found the choke cable wasn't working fixed that and it started right up. Runs like a sewing machine. Replaced two of the four u-joints in the rear axle, tie strapped the fender back together. A few little repairs and I have an AVT for well under $200.00. Took it out last night for it test run and it's fine. Needs tires, the cheapest I can fine is $300.00 for all four, didn't know they were so high but it's worth a set. I still need to rebuild the front master cylinder and replace some brake lines for the front brake, going to have about $100.00 in that but still a good little machine for the investment I think.

Good deal. My buddy has an old Suzuki...runs great and does all for him. I think his is 4x4 though. That sounds like a good deal to me.

Try "Dennis Kirk" out of Rush City , Mn for tires. they have alot of cheap and closeout specials at times. I bought tires for a scooter for $12 or so, it out lasted the origanial that was 3 times the cost. Used to have free shipping on orders over $50, that might have changed to $100

I have a 93 Suzuki and the only complaint is the wheels freeze if they get wet. Most mornings in November I have a big fight just to get it moving. No easy fix.

Try this place
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do?

I got tires from here. They made a mistake on the price of them and forgot to add a zero on the tires I bought. I got them for $10 a piece new. They are also 27X10X14" tires.

I got my tires from pureoffroad. They have free shipping too.The reason I bought from them, was they had the tires that I wanted, in the size I needed.I got the gbc dirt devil front and back. They did good in a foot of snow and ice. They are good on soft and hard pack dirt too.Have'nt been in a lot of mud yet.I like the tractor tire pattern. My atv is 4x4.You may want diif patterns on front and back.Good luck.
